Description

A simple yet flavorful grilled shrimp dish perfect for summer barbecues and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix the marinade: In a bowl, combine olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  2. Marinate the shrimp: Add the shrimp to the bowl, ensuring they’re well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes for the best flavor.
  3. Preheat the grill: Get your grill ready by heating it to medium-high.
  4. Skewer the shrimp: Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers for easy grilling.
  5. Grill the shrimp: Place the skewers on the grill, cooking for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn opaque and are cooked through.
  6. Garnish and serve: Remove from the grill and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Don’t over-marinate; stick to the recommended 30 minutes. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water to prevent burning.
