Description
A simple yet flavorful grilled shrimp dish perfect for summer barbecues and gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Mix the marinade: In a bowl, combine olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Marinate the shrimp: Add the shrimp to the bowl, ensuring they’re well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes for the best flavor.
- Preheat the grill: Get your grill ready by heating it to medium-high.
- Skewer the shrimp: Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers for easy grilling.
- Grill the shrimp: Place the skewers on the grill, cooking for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn opaque and are cooked through.
- Garnish and serve: Remove from the grill and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Don’t over-marinate; stick to the recommended 30 minutes. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water to prevent burning.
