Description

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or chicken thighs)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons honey (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Prep your workspace: Lay out all ingredients and pat the chicken dry, seasoning both sides.
- Create the butter mixture: Whisk together melted butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Sear the chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook the chicken for 5–6 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
- Build the sauce: Deglaze the skillet with chicken broth, scraping up browned bits, then add the butter mixture and simmer.
- Finish the chicken: Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over each piece. Simmer together for 2–3 minutes.
- Serve: Plate the chicken with sauce and garnish with parsley if desired.
