Ingredients
- 8 oz Cream cheese (softened)
- 4 oz Sour cream
- 2 tbsp Taco seasoning
- 1/3 cup Salsa (taco or picante sauce)
- 1-2 Jalapenos (seeded and finely diced, adjust to taste)
- 1 1/2 cups Cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1 1/2 cups Chicken (cooked and shredded)
- 1/3 cup Cilantro (finely chopped)
- 6 8-inch flour tortillas
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, sour cream, taco seasoning, salsa, jalapenos, cheddar cheese, chicken, and cilantro until everything is well incorporated.
- Lay out one tortilla on a flat surface. Spread 2 to 3 tablespoons of the creamy mixture evenly over the tortilla, reaching all the way to the edges.
- Roll the tortilla tightly from one end to the other and place it seam-side down on a plate. Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas and filling.
- Refrigerate the rolled tortillas for at least 120 minutes to firm up.
- Once chilled, slice each rolled tortilla into bite-sized pieces. Garnish with additional cilantro if desired.
Notes
Ensure tortillas are at room temperature before rolling to avoid tearing. For a healthier twist, substitue sour cream with Greek yogurt.
