Ingredients
- 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup corn, drained
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- Tortilla salad shells (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven and prepare crispy tortilla bowls according to your recipe.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or turkey. Drain any excess fat.
- Sprinkle in the taco seasoning and follow the package instructions.
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, cherry tomatoes, black beans, corn, avocado, and the cooked meat.
- Gently toss all the ingredients to ensure even distribution of flavors.
- Once your tortilla bowls are ready, fill each with the salad mixture.
- Top with cheese, and serve immediately.
