Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Add flour, baking powder, and salt to the mixture. Blend until a dough forms.
- Press the dough into the bottom of the prepared baking pan, creating an even layer.
- Mix the chopped strawberries with lemon juice and sugar. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to release juices.
- Spread the strawberry mixture evenly over the crust.
