Description

Juicy sirloin steak interspersed with vibrant peppers and onions, grilled to perfection for a smoky flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds sirloin steak (cut into 1 1/4 inch pieces)
  • 2 bell peppers (cut into 1 1/4 inch pieces)
  • 1 red onion (cut into 1 1/4 inch pieces)
  • 1 zucchini (sliced)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper


Instructions

  1. Soak the skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the marinade by combining olive oil, soy sauce, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, and pepper in a Zip-loc bag.
  3. Marinate the steak pieces in the bag, seal it, and refrigerate for 3-6 hours.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high, around 450-500°F.
  5. Prep the vegetables by cutting and tossing them with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  6. Assemble the kabobs by threading steak and vegetables onto the soaked skewers.
  7. Grill the kabobs for 3-4 minutes on each side until medium-rare to medium doneness.

Notes

Serve with grilled pita and tzatziki sauce; storage tips for leftovers included.
