Description

A bubbling bowl of Spicy Louisiana Shrimp Dip, combining creamy, spicy, and savory flavors that are perfect for gatherings and game day.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Green onions (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the shrimp until pink, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and chop coarsely.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheese, Cajun seasoning, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until well blended.
  4. Fold in the chopped shrimp until evenly incorporated.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the dip is bubbly and golden on top.
  7. Remove from oven, garnish with green onions if desired, and serve warm with your favorite chips or crackers.

Notes

For a healthier version, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream and consider adding a splash of lemon juice or diced jalapeños for extra flavor.
