Description

A delightful Spanish twist on classic deviled eggs, combining creamy flavors with a hint of smokiness.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Crispy chorizo bits or diced roasted red pepper for topping

Instructions

  1. Place the eggs in a pot, cover with salted water, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes.
  2. After cooking, remove the eggs and cool them in an ice bath. Once cooled, peel and halve the eggs lengthwise.
  3. Gently scoop the yolks into a mixing bowl and mash them. Mix in mayonnaise, smoked paprika, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until you achieve a smooth consistency.
  4. Either spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  5. Top with crispy chorizo bits or diced roasted red pepper for added flavor and texture.
  6. Chill the completed eggs before serving as part of an appetizer spread.

Notes

For a lighter touch, substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise. You can also add a dash of hot sauce for extra heat.
