Description
A delightful Spanish twist on classic deviled eggs, combining creamy flavors with a hint of smokiness.
Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Crispy chorizo bits or diced roasted red pepper for topping
Instructions
- Place the eggs in a pot, cover with salted water, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes.
- After cooking, remove the eggs and cool them in an ice bath. Once cooled, peel and halve the eggs lengthwise.
- Gently scoop the yolks into a mixing bowl and mash them. Mix in mayonnaise, smoked paprika, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until you achieve a smooth consistency.
- Either spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
- Top with crispy chorizo bits or diced roasted red pepper for added flavor and texture.
- Chill the completed eggs before serving as part of an appetizer spread.
Notes
For a lighter touch, substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise. You can also add a dash of hot sauce for extra heat.
