Ingredients

  • 2 tuna steaks
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Whisk together sesame oil, soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, and honey in a bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Marinate the tuna steaks in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the tuna from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off.
  5. Grill the tuna for about 2-3 minutes on each side to achieve a beautiful medium-rare.
  6. Let the tuna rest for a couple of minutes.
  7. Slice the tuna and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
