Description
Deliciously marinated tuna steaks grilled to perfection, infused with Asian flavors of sesame and ginger.
Ingredients
- 2 tuna steaks
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Whisk together sesame oil, soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, and honey in a bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Marinate the tuna steaks in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the tuna from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off.
- Grill the tuna for about 2-3 minutes on each side to achieve a beautiful medium-rare.
- Let the tuna rest for a couple of minutes.
- Slice the tuna and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For best results, choose fresh, firm tuna steaks and avoid overcooking for a perfectly moist dish.
