Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon juice (optional)
  • Parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute, ensuring it doesn’t burn and becomes aromatic.
  3. Now, add the shrimp to the skillet. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque.
  5. When cooked through, remove the skillet from heat. If desired, drizzle with fresh lemon juice for brightness.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Fresh shrimp makes a noticeable difference. Avoid overcrowding the pan for even cooking.
