Ingredients
- 1 can (14.75 oz) salmon, drained
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the salmon, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, egg, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until everything is well blended.
- Shape the mixture into patties about 2-3 inches in diameter.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they turn golden brown and are cooked through.
- Serve hot and savor the flavors!
Notes
For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free breadcrumbs. If you’re vegan, try using chickpeas instead of salmon!
