Description

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14.75 oz) salmon, drained
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the salmon, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, egg, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until everything is well blended.
  2. Shape the mixture into patties about 2-3 inches in diameter.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free breadcrumbs. If you’re vegan, try using chickpeas instead of salmon!
