Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh asparagus
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove (minced or ¼ teaspoon garlic powder)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 2-3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Trim the woody ends from the asparagus.
  3. In a bowl, drizzle olive oil over the asparagus and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Sprinkle with minced garlic, salt, and pepper, then toss again.
  5. Spread the asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 6-8 minutes until tender and slightly crispy.
  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Serve warm.

Notes
