Ingredients
- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 teaspoon Tajín seasoning (or more to taste)
Instructions
- Smash the aromatics: In a molcajete (or a zip-top bag using a rolling pin), smash the chopped onion, diced jalapeño, and minced garlic until juicy and fragrant.
- Mash the avocados: Cut the ripe avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into the bowl. Mash it to your desired level of creaminess—smooth or chunky, it’s up to you!
- Mix in the goodness: Stir in the chopped cilantro and lime juice. Add Tajín seasoning to taste for that extra zing.
- Serve fresh: Enjoy your guacamole right away with tortilla chips or as a topping for your favorite tacos!
