Description

A decadent chicken dish featuring crispy pan-seared chicken in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 large eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (for sauce)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness, then season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Dredge the chicken in flour, dip in the beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Cook the chicken on both sides for 4-5 minutes until golden and fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F). Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and sauté garlic for 1-2 minutes. Add chicken broth and lemon juice to deglaze the pan. Stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese, and let simmer until the sauce thickens.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, allowing it to soak in the garlic butter sauce for a couple of minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use freshly grated parmesan cheese and allow the garlic to cook gently in the butter for enhanced flavor.
