Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Paprika for garnish
- Optional: chopped chives or dill for garnish
Instructions
- Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with water.
- Bring the water to a boil, then turn off the heat, cover, and let the eggs sit for 12 minutes.
- Once cooked, transfer the eggs to an ice water bath to cool completely.
- Peel the cooled eggs and cut them in half lengthwise.
- Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
- Sprinkle with paprika and garnish with chives or dill, if desired.
- Serve chilled for the best flavor!
Notes
For perfect hard-boiled eggs, add a splash of vinegar to the water to help make peeling easier. Using room temperature eggs can reduce cooking time.
