Description

These oven-baked barbecue ribs are tender, succulent, and coated in a sticky-sweet glaze that will impress at any gathering.


Ingredients

  • Pork ribs
  • Brown sugar
  • Paprika
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Barbecue sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to create a delicious dry rub.
  3. Generously coat both sides of the ribs with the dry rub.
  4. Place the ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet and cover with additional foil.
  5. Bake for 150 to 180 minutes until the ribs are fork-tender.
  6. Remove from the oven and brush with barbecue sauce.
  7. Return to the oven uncovered for another 30 minutes, brushing with more sauce as needed.
  8. Let the ribs rest for a few moments before serving.

Notes

For a smoky flavor, add a few drops of liquid smoke to the barbecue sauce.
