Ingredients
- 2 lobster tails, shelled and cut into strips
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 medium courgettes, sliced into fries
- ½ cup flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Prep the Courgette Fries: Toss the courgette slices in a bowl with flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Heat the Oil: In a deep skillet, heat enough oil for frying over medium heat.
- Prepare the Goujons: In separate bowls, place flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs. Dip each lobster strip first in flour, then in the egg, and finally in breadcrumbs.
- Fry the Courgette Fries: Fry the courgette fries in the hot oil until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
- Fry the Lobster Goujons: In the same skillet, fry the lobster goujons for about 2-3 minutes on each side until crispy and cooked through. Remove and place on paper towels.
Notes
For an upscale feel, pair with garlic aioli or a tangy dipping sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
