Ingredients
- Salmon fillets (skin-on for better flavor)
- Smoking wood chips (like hickory or applewood)
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Lemon slices (for brightness)
Instructions
- Preheat your smoker to 175°F (80°C).
- Rub the salmon fillets with olive oil and season generously with salt and black pepper.
- Lay lemon slices on top of the seasoned fillets for added zest.
- Add wood chips to the smoker. Place the salmon directly on the grill grate.
- Let it smoke for about 60-120 minutes, or until the salmon has reached your desired level of doneness.
- Carefully remove the salmon from the smoker and allow it to rest for a few minutes before serving.
