Description

A sweet and spicy baked chicken breast dish that balances flavor with ease of preparation.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the hot honey and minced garlic in a small bowl.
  3. Pat the chicken breasts dry, then season them with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
  5. Sear the chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes on each side until they develop a golden-brown crust.
  6. Pour the hot honey mixture over the chicken breasts, allowing the flavors to meld.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  8. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving to enhance juiciness.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley for a pop of color and freshness, if desired.

Notes

Feel free to substitute hot honey with regular honey mixed with hot sauce for a milder version. For added juiciness, consider brining the chicken before cooking.
