Description

Tender and juicy chicken thighs coated in a sticky honey garlic glaze, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free 1:1 baking flour)
  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika (regular or smoked)
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup honey (or agave nectar or maple syrup)
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce (or tamari or coconut aminos for gluten-free)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder in a pinch)
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour and paprika.
  3. Dredge each chicken thigh in the flour mixture, shaking off excess, and arrange in the baking dish in a single layer.
  4. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
  6. Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated.
  7. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes.
  9. Let the chicken rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can skip the red pepper flakes for a milder dish. The sauce is great over rice or vegetables.
