Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1 jalapeño, diced (remove seeds for less heat)
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Mash the avocado to your preferred chunkiness using a fork.
  3. Add the diced tomato, jalapeño, onion, lime juice, and cilantro into the bowl.
  4. Gently mix all the ingredients together.
  5. Season with salt to taste.
  6. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, salads, or grilled meats.

Notes
