Ingredients
- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 roma tomatoes, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half and carefully remove the pits.
- Scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl. Use a fork to mash the avocados to your preferred consistency.
- Add the lime juice, chopped onion, diced tomatoes, minced garlic, and salt. Stir until everything is well combined.
- Taste your guacamole and adjust the seasoning as needed.
- If you’re using cilantro, fold it gently into the mixture.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips or use it as a topping for tacos or burritos.
Notes
Store leftover guacamole in an airtight container with plastic wrap pressed against the surface to prevent oxidation.
