Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 roma tomatoes, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half and carefully remove the pits.
  2. Scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl. Use a fork to mash the avocados to your preferred consistency.
  3. Add the lime juice, chopped onion, diced tomatoes, minced garlic, and salt. Stir until everything is well combined.
  4. Taste your guacamole and adjust the seasoning as needed.
  5. If you’re using cilantro, fold it gently into the mixture.
  6. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or use it as a topping for tacos or burritos.

Notes

Store leftover guacamole in an airtight container with plastic wrap pressed against the surface to prevent oxidation.
