A simple yet delicious grilled sea bass recipe, elevated by garlic lemon butter for a flavorful summer dish.
Ingredients
- 2 sea bass fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Pat the sea bass fillets dry using paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, just until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice.
- Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent the fish from sticking.
- Place the sea bass fillets skin-side down on the grill. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Carefully flip the fillets and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the skin is crispy and the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Just before serving, drizzle the garlic lemon butter over the grilled fish.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve while hot.
