Ingredients
- 12 fresh oysters
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup beer (lager recommended)
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the beer, garlic, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Place the oysters on the grill, cupped side down. Carefully spoon the herb beer butter over each one.
- Cover the grill and cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until the oysters are cooked through and their edges are curled.
- Remove them from the grill and let them cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
Enjoy fresh off the grill, garnished with lemon wedges and chopped parsley. Serve with crusty bread and a chilled glass of white wine.
