Description

A Mediterranean delight featuring grilled octopus marinated in olive oil, lemon, garlic, and herbs, perfect for summer barbecues.


Ingredients

  • 1 kg octopus, cleaned
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Add the cleaned octopus to the bowl, ensuring it’s well-coated with the marinade. Let it marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes.
  4. Grill the marinated octopus for approximately 3-4 minutes on each side, or until tender and charred beautifully.
  5. Remove from the grill, slice into pieces, and serve with lemon wedges and fresh parsley.

Notes
