Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and smoked paprika, cooking until fragrant—about 1 minute.
  3. Combine the shrimp, garlic butter mixture, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Toss well to coat.
  4. Thread the seasoned shrimp onto skewers.
  5. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque.
  6. Remove the shrimp from the grill, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

You can use frozen shrimp; just ensure they are fully thawed before cooking. For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes.
