Description

Quick and easy grilled fish tacos with fresh toppings, perfect for a weeknight dinner or gathering with friends.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound white fish fillets (tilapia or cod)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup grilled pineapple (diced)
  • 1/2 red onion (diced)
  • 1/4 cup cilantro (chopped)
  • 1 avocado (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or crema
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Place the fish fillets in the marinade and let them rest for 15-30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the fish for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  4. While the fish is grilling, warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
  5. Assemble your tacos by placing grilled fish on a tortilla. Top with grilled pineapple, diced red onion, cilantro, and avocado slices.
  6. Drizzle with sour cream or crema and serve with fresh lime wedges.

Notes

For a different twist, substitute the white fish with salmon or shrimp. Marinating for a full 30 minutes enhances the flavors.
