Description
A delicious side dish featuring asparagus roasted with garlic and topped with Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine asparagus, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
- Arrange the asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Roast for 15-20 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and slightly crispy.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Return to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes to let the cheese melt.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For a vegan version, substitute Parmesan with nutritional yeast and olive oil with avocado oil.
