Ingredients
- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley
- 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
- ¾ cup dry white wine
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1¾ cups chicken broth
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon honey
- ½ chicken bouillon cube
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon dried basil
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Tenderize and season chicken breasts, searing until golden brown.
- Deglaze the pan with white wine and reduce, adding minced garlic.
- Create a roux with butter and flour, then add the prepared sauce mixture, simmering to thicken.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, return chicken to pan, and heat through.
- Serve with your choice of sides and additional sauce.
