Description
A vibrant dish featuring shrimp marinated in garlic and herbs, perfect for summer barbecues or cozy dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (like parsley or cilantro)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Prepare the marinade: In a bowl, combine minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Add the shrimp: Toss the shrimp in the marinade, ensuring they’re well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 1 hour in the refrigerator for deeper flavor.
- Preheat the grill: Heat your grill to medium-high.
- Skewering: Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers, leaving a little space between each shrimp.
- Grill: Place the skewers on the grill. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp are pink and slightly charred.
- Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with fresh herbs or a squeeze of lemon juice.
Notes
Don’t over-marinate the shrimp. Use fresh ingredients for best flavor.
