Description

Tender and flavorful ribs that fall off the bone, perfect for family gatherings or a cozy dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 rack baby back ribs (membrane removed)
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons coarse salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar BBQ sauce
  • 2-3 tablespoons honey
  • Parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Lay the ribs on a large sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
  3. Mix together all your dry rub ingredients in a bowl. Rub this mixture onto both sides of the ribs.
  4. Wrap the ribs tightly in the foil and place them on a large baking sheet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 3 hours.
  6. Unwrap the ribs carefully once baked. In a small bowl, mix the BBQ sauce and honey. Brush this mixture generously over the ribs.
  7. Place the ribs back in the oven on the lowest rack and broil for about 3-5 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
  8. Remove from the oven, brush with more BBQ sauce, and sprinkle with parsley if desired.

Notes

Pat your ribs dry before applying the rub for better spice adherence. Marinate overnight for deeper flavor, and add cayenne pepper for heat if desired.
