Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 2 lbs)
- 3/4 cup low sodium chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon seasoning salt (like Lawry’s)
- 3/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Pour the chicken broth over the chicken, then sprinkle the seasoning salt, Italian seasoning, and black pepper evenly over the top.
- Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
- Use two forks to gently pull and shred the chicken directly in the cooking liquid.
- Transfer shredded chicken to storage containers for meal prep or use immediately in preferred recipes.
