Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, fresh or frozen
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before grilling)
Instructions
- Mix together olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, pepper, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
- Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss well to coat. Let them marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the shrimp onto skewers.
- Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque.
- Serve immediately, garnished with lemon wedges if desired.

Don’t overcook the shrimp; they should be removed from the grill as soon as they turn pink and opaque. Feel free to experiment with marinades.
