Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, fresh or frozen
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before grilling)


Instructions

  1. Mix together olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, pepper, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
  2. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss well to coat. Let them marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the shrimp onto skewers.
  5. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with lemon wedges if desired.
