- 2 cups of cooked rice (white or brown)
- 1 cup of mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, and bell peppers)
- 1 pound of your choice of protein (chicken, tofu, or shrimp)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- Fresh herbs (such as cilantro or green onions) for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients: Dice your protein into bite-sized pieces and chop the vegetables.
- Heat the pan: In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
- Cook the protein: Add your protein to the pan and cook until it’s no longer pink (about 5-7 minutes for chicken or shrimp).
- Add vegetables: Toss in your mixed vegetables and minced garlic. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until tender.
