Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon mustard (yellow or Dijon)
- 1 teaspoon vinegar (white or apple cider)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Paprika for garnish
Instructions
- Place the eggs in a saucepan, cover them with water, and bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Once boiling, remove the saucepan from heat, cover it, and let the eggs sit for 9-12 minutes.
- Drain the hot water and cool the eggs under cold running water.
- Once cooled, peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
- Carefully take out the yolks and transfer them to a mixing bowl.
- Mash the yolks with a fork, then mix in the mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper until you achieve a smooth consistency.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the hollowed egg whites.
- Finish by sprinkling paprika on top for color.
- Chill before serving for the best flavor.
Notes
Store leftover deviled eggs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. For a lighter twist, swap Greek yogurt for mayonnaise.
