A comforting and creamy taco soup that’s easy to prepare and perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, green onions
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients.
- Brown the ground beef until fully cooked.
- Add in the black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, beef broth, and taco seasoning. Stir well.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer, letting it cook for about 15 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with your choice of toppings.
Notes
Add a dash of hot sauce or sliced jalapeños for an extra kick. For best texture, add the cream towards the end of cooking.
