Description
A gourmet-style dish featuring succulent salmon fillets in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for impressing guests or enjoying a cozy night in.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Begin by melting the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then carefully place them in the skillet. Cook the salmon for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
- Once cooked, remove the salmon from the skillet and set it aside on a plate.
- In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream and lemon juice. Stir well to combine, letting it simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the salmon to the skillet, carefully coating it with the creamy sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. Ensure salmon is fully thawed if using frozen.
