A timeless recipe for creamy deviled eggs that are a crowd favorite at any gathering.
Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Paprika for garnish
Instructions
- Place six large eggs in a pot of water and bring to a boil. Cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes.
- Transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool.
- Once cool, gently peel the eggs and slice in half lengthwise.
- Remove yolks and mix with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
- Sprinkle with paprika before serving.
Notes
Use eggs a few days old for easier peeling. Consider adding fresh herbs for extra flavor.
