Description
Crispy and salty cottage cheese chips are a fantastic low-carb snack, easy to make with just one ingredient.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cottage cheese (preferably full-fat)
- Optional: Everything but the bagel seasoning
- Optional: Garlic powder or garlic flakes
- Optional: Sesame seeds
- Optional: Poppy seeds
- Optional: Taco seasoning (low sodium/salt-free)
- Optional: Grated cheddar cheese or parmesan
- Optional: Black pepper
- Optional: Dried herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Drain excess moisture from the cottage cheese to ensure crispiness.
- Scoop out one-tablespoon portions of cottage cheese onto the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Press down slightly to flatten each mound and sprinkle with seasonings of choice.
- Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, checking at the 25-minute mark.
- Remove from the oven and let the chips cool completely on the baking sheet.
- Once cooled, carefully peel off and enjoy!
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh. Store any leftovers in an airtight container but they may lose their crispiness. To restore, re-crisp in a 300°F oven for 5-8 minutes.
