Description
Flavorful chicken tacos filled with marinated chicken, fresh pico de gallo, and cheese.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 taco shells
- 1 cup pico de gallo
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- Sour cream and salsa, for serving
Instructions
- Combine olive oil, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Marinate the chicken breasts for at least 30 minutes.
- Grill the chicken over medium-high heat for about 6-7 minutes per side or until fully cooked. Remove and let rest before slicing.
- Warm the taco shells according to package instructions.
- Fill each taco shell with sliced chicken, pico de gallo, lettuce, cheese, and any additional toppings.
- Serve with sour cream and salsa on the side for dipping.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate chicken overnight. Use store-bought taco seasoning if short on time.
