Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix (18.3 oz)
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix and flour until well mixed.
  3. Pour in the vegetable oil, water, and eggs. Stir until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
  4. Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  5. Using a cookie scoop, portion out 1.5 tablespoons of dough and place the balls a few inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 8–10 minutes, until the tops are crinkly and the edges are set, with slightly soft centers.
  7. Allow the cookies to rest on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.

Notes

Don’t overmix to keep the cookies soft and fudgy. Chill the dough for thicker cookies. Experiment with toppings like sea salt or sprinkles.
