Ingredients

  • 1 family-size (18-ounce) box Brownie Mix
  • 3 tablespoons (22 grams) all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons (18 grams) dark cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line three baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, pour in the brownie mix.
  4. Stir in the flour and dark cocoa powder.
  5. Lightly beat the eggs and add to the dry ingredients.
  6. Pour in the melted butter and mix well until blended.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Scoop out about 20 balls of dough using a #30 ice cream scoop or tablespoon, rolling them into smooth balls about 1.5 inches in diameter.
  9. Space the balls on the prepared baking sheets.
  10. Bake one tray at a time for 10–12 minutes, depending on preferred gooeyness.
  11. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for up to one hour before moving them.

Store leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months.
