Delicious brownie cookies that combine the rich flavor of brownies with the chewy texture of cookies.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a mixing bowl. Stir in brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the vanilla extract and salt, mixing well.
- Gradually incorporate the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Mix until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Use a scoop to form tablespoon-sized portions of dough and place them on the baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set but the center remains soft.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
