A flavorful salmon dish featuring a sweet bourbon and peach marinade that elevates any meal.
Ingredients
- 4 Salmon filets
- 1/2 cup Bourbon
- 1/4 cup Peach preserves or 2 fresh peaches
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 Freshly sliced peach, for garnish
Instructions
- Mix the marinade: In a bowl, combine bourbon, peach preserves, olive oil, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well blended.
- Marinate the salmon: Place the salmon filets in the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the salmon for baking: Arrange the marinated salmon on a baking sheet and top with freshly sliced peaches.
- Roast for about 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve with the caramelized marinade drizzled over the salmon.
Notes
For a deeper flavor, marinate the salmon overnight. Consider adding chili flakes for a spicy kick.
