Description

A restaurant-quality dish featuring perfectly cooked salmon fillets stuffed with a creamy spinach and Parmesan cheese filling, finished with a smoky blackened crust.

Ingredients

  • 4 skinless salmon fillets
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat, then sauté the garlic and spinach until wilted.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in cream cheese and Parmesan until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
  4. Carefully slice each salmon fillet horizontally to create a pocket, making sure not to cut all the way through.
  5. Stuff each fillet with the spinach and cheese mixture.
  6. In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  7. Rub the seasoning blend over the top of each fillet.
  8. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the salmon for 2–3 minutes per side until a dark, flavorful crust forms.
  9. Transfer the salmon to the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes until fully cooked.
  10. Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges for a bright finish.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. To reheat, place the salmon in a low oven to keep it moist.
