A vibrant and simple side dish of oven-roasted asparagus that enhances any meal with its crispy and perfectly seasoned flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh asparagus
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp fresh black pepper
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and set aside.
- Wash the asparagus and trim 1-2 inches from the bottom to remove tough ends. Ensure they are dry.
- Drizzle the asparagus with olive oil in a large bowl, tossing gently to coat.
- Add garlic powder, black pepper, and kosher salt, then toss again for even seasoning.
- Arrange asparagus in a single layer on the baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes until tender and slightly browned.
- Remove from the oven, transfer to a serving dish, and enjoy.
Notes
For added flavor, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top before serving. Pairs well with grilled meats or in a salad.
