Description
Tender, fall-off-the-bone barbecue beef ribs infused with smoky flavors, perfect for backyard gatherings.
Ingredients
- 3 lbs beef short ribs
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or smoker to a low temperature (around 225°F or 107°C).
- Generously season the beef short ribs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, ensuring an even coating.
- Apply a generous amount of BBQ sauce over the ribs, making sure they’re well-coated.
- Place the ribs on the grill, letting them cook slowly over low heat.
- Baste the ribs with more BBQ sauce every hour to lock in moisture and flavor.
- Once the ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender (after about 4-5 hours), remove them from the grill.
- Let them rest for at least 15 minutes before serving to retain their juices.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, marinate the ribs in the BBQ sauce for several hours or overnight before cooking. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the meat reaches an internal temperature of at least 190°F (88°C).
