Ingredients

  • 1½ cups mashed bananas (about 3 super ripe bananas)
  • ½ cup nut butter (almond, peanut, or cashew)
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine mashed bananas, nut butter, rolled oats, cinnamon, vanilla extract, maple syrup, chocolate chips, and salt. Mix well until combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan, pressing it down evenly.
  4. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  5. Let the bars cool completely before slicing into squares.
