Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground beef or chicken
- 1 packet Taco seasoning
- 12 Taco shells
- 2 cups Shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
- 2 cups Fresh shredded lettuce
- 1 cup Diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup Sour cream
- 1 cup Salsa
- 1/2 cup Olives (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown the ground beef or chicken over medium heat in a skillet. Add taco seasoning and a splash of water, cooking until the meat is fully cooked.
- Arrange taco shells upright in a baking dish and fill each shell with the seasoned meat.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the filled taco shells.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve with fresh toppings like lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, salsa, and olives.
Notes
For extra crispy shells, bake them empty for a few minutes before filling.
