Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 8 small tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 lime, juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Season the shrimp: In a bowl, toss the shrimp with taco seasoning until evenly coated.
- Cook the shrimp: Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until cooked through.
- Make the slaw: In another bowl, combine shredded cabbage, carrots, mayonnaise, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
- Warm the tortillas: Heat the tortillas in a pan or microwave until warm.
- Assemble the tacos: Place cooked shrimp on tortillas and top with the slaw.
- Garnish and serve: Finish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately.
Notes
For a soft taco experience, use flour tortillas. Leftovers should be stored separately for freshness.
